The free shuttle bus service connecting the two ski resorts in the Urabandai area (Kitashiobara Village)—“EN RESORT Grandeco” and “NEKOMA MOUNTAIN North Area”—will continue operating for the 2025-26 winter season, following its success last season.
The route includes stops at three major hotels: “Mercure Urabandai,” “Urabandai Kogen Hotel,” and “Lake Resort Urabandai.”
In addition, the shuttle will stop at “Kyukamura Urabandai” for the morning services heading toward Grandeco, and the afternoon services departing from Grandeco.
Furthermore, it will also stop at the “Goshikinuma Iriguchi Tourist Plaza,” which is convenient for day-trip activities and transfers to/from local pensions.
From January 17 to February 1, 2026, the shuttle bus service will also include daytime trips bound for Kitakata City.
Specifically, during this period (January 17 – February 1, 2026), there will be one round trip run to Kitakata City (Aizu Kitakata Ramen-kan Main Building).
This service allows for an approximate two-hour stay in Kitakata, which you can use to enjoy Kitakata ramen, take a walk, or purchase souvenirs.
