2025/3/7-9 Snowboard Tournament “AIR MIX”

“The MURASAKI AIR MIX STYLE BATTLES 2025” will be held in Hoshino Resorts NEKOMA Mountain from Friday, March 7, 2025 to 9 (Sun) to determine the best snowboarding style.
This event will be held for the first time in 6 years.

“AIR MIX” started in 2003 as a rider by rider. Since then, it has attracted attention from various industries as a unique event planned and managed by professional snowboarders. Among the winners of past competitions, Japan’s top athletes have competed, including 4 Olympic athletes (’03 /’ 09/Kazuhiro Kokubo ’05/Fumiyuki Murakami’ 06/Takaharu Nakai, ’15/Yuki Kadono, 17/Kohei Kudo).

This competition was triggered by the fact that famous resorts around the world created BIG items for shooting, and superstars from all over the world gathered for a dreamy BIG session.

“We want to hold such a session in Japan” and “We want a lot of people to see the best session”. The desire of the riders, including Murasaki Sports, resorts, companies, and the media, made it possible to hold the session all over Japan and attracted many fans.

In addition, many famous matches on the stage of “AIR MIX” have raised the level of the skills of the riders, captivated the hearts of those who see them, and contributed greatly to the development of the snow scene with great sensitivity.

Kohei Kudo will serve as the contest director for this year’s event. In addition to the unique impact of AIR MIX as a contest to fly higher than anyone else, he will also create the creative world of riders who are active in the world today, and create a dream BATTLE by the best riders. Kohei Kudo has won the AIR MIX championship in 2017, and has established his own brand “NOMADIK,” showing his skills not only in snowboarding but in many other fields. In addition, the host city of Hoshino Resorts NEKOMA Mountain has been a “snowboarder’s haven” since 2003, when snowboarding culture began to flourish in Japan, and has led the snowboarding scene by hosting legendary events such as the Nippon Open and Slopestyle. It is a ski resort that has one of the largest parks in Japan and attracts many top snowboarders. Staff with top-class park construction technology and a passion for the snowboarding scene will join AIR MIX.
