Experience Traditional Wasan Boat Rides at Tsuruga Castle Moat!

A traditional Japanese boat (Wasan), usually used for the “Mugenkyo no Watashi” ferry in Kaneyama Town, Fukushima Prefecture, will be specially operating in the moat of Tsuruga Castle, the symbol of Aizuwakamatsu City.

Hop aboard a Wasan rowed by a boatman and enjoy a relaxing 30 to 40-minute tour around Tsuruga Castle’s inner moat. You’ll hear insightful explanations about the historic site from a knowledgeable guide during your ride. Up to six people can ride together, making it a perfect experience for families and friends to enjoy some quality time together.

 *Presenting a stub from your Tsuruga Castle Tenshukaku (main keep) admission ticket will give you a ¥200 discount.
