Easy Access to the Aizu-Bandai Area in Winter via Public Transportation!

When visiting the Aizu-Bandai area for skiing or snowboarding, various public transportation options are available in addition to traveling by car.
During the winter season, shuttle buses operate from major Shinkansen stations to each destination: the Urabandai area in Kitashiobara Village, which features Grandeco Snow Resort, Nekoma Mountain North Area, and numerous resort hotels; Bandai Town, home to the Nekoma Mountain South Area; and Aizu-Wakamatsu City, which serves as an ideal base town.

Urabandai Area (Kitashiobara Village)

  • Tokyo Station ⇔ Urabandai Area: Shuttle Bus
  • Urabandai Area Ski Shuttle Bus (Nekoma Mountain North Area ⇔ Various Hotels ⇔ Grandeco Snow Resort)
  • Koriyama Station ⇔ Urabandai Area: Shuttle Bus (Scheduled to start operating in the 2026–2027 season))

Omote-Bandai Area (Bandai Town)
